Cleaning Questions, Honest Answers

Everything you want to know before booking your first (or next) clean with Sunshine Clean & Care.

General

We offer recurring cleaning (weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly), deep cleaning, and move-in/move-out cleaning for residential homes across Tampa Bay and Pasco County. Every service is flat-rate priced so you know what you're paying before we start.

Yes. We use pet-safe, eco-friendly products in all main living areas. Completely safe for dogs, cats, and kids. If your pet has specific sensitivities, let us know and we'll adjust accordingly.

No. Many customers leave a key or garage code. We're licensed and insured, so your home is in good hands. You'll get a text when we arrive and another when we're finished.

Typically 1-2 depending on home size. Recurring customers get the same team each visit so they learn your home's layout and preferences. Consistency matters to us.

We serve the Tampa Bay area and all of Pasco County: Wesley Chapel, Trinity, New Port Richey, Land O' Lakes, Zephyrhills, Lutz, Odessa, Hudson, and surrounding communities. Not sure if we cover your neighborhood? Call 727-207-2119 and we'll let you know.

Pricing

It depends on bedrooms, bathrooms, and service type. A 3-bed/2-bath recurring clean starts around $250 to $300. Deep cleans and move-out cleans run higher because of the extra detail work. Use our instant estimator or call 727-207-2119 for an exact quote.

Flat rate, always. You'll know the price before we start. No surprise charges when the clock runs long. The quote we give is the price you pay.

Free cancellation with 24+ hours notice. Same-day cancellations may have a small fee since we've already reserved your time slot and turned away other bookings for that window.

Yes. Weekly service gets the best per-visit rate. Bi-weekly is slightly higher. Monthly is priced per visit. The more often we come, the less each visit costs because the home stays cleaner between visits and takes less time to maintain.

Process

Everything in a regular clean plus baseboards, ceiling fans, inside appliances (oven and fridge), window sills, light fixtures, and detailed scrubbing of kitchens and bathrooms. It's the reset your home needs before starting recurring service or after a long stretch without professional cleaning.

We use individual hand towels instead of feather dusters. Towels trap and remove dust instead of just pushing it around. It makes a real difference, especially if anyone in your household has allergies. Each towel is freshly laundered for every job.

Yes. All supplies and equipment are included in every visit. If you have a preferred product or brand you'd like us to use on certain surfaces, just let us know and we're happy to accommodate.

Scheduling

For recurring service, 1-2 weeks is usually enough to get on the schedule. Deep cleans and move-out cleans book fast, especially at the end of the month, so 1-2 weeks ahead is ideal for those. Need something sooner? Call 727-207-2119 and we'll see what we can do.

Absolutely. Call or text us at 727-207-2119 at least 24 hours before your appointment and we'll find a new time that works. Life happens; we get it.

We're open Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM. We're closed on Saturdays and Sundays.

Trust & Safety

Yes, we carry full liability insurance. Damage is extremely rare, but if it happens, we document it on the spot and handle it quickly. You will never have to argue or chase us down. We treat your home like it's ours.

You'll know your team by name. Recurring customers are assigned the same cleaner or pair every visit. Every team member is background-checked before their first client visit. No random substitutions, no strangers showing up unannounced.

Consistency & Quality

Call or text us within 24 hours and we come back and fix it for free. No forms, no arguing, no waiting until your next scheduled visit. We want to know so we can make it right and make sure it doesn't happen again.

Every visit follows a detailed room-by-room checklist. Baseboards, light switches, under couch cushions, behind toilets. The list is the same every time so nothing gets skipped, regardless of which team member is cleaning.

Yes. The checklist ensures consistency, and the same team builds accountability. They know your home, they know what matters to you, and they know we follow up. If standards ever slip, you'll hear from us before you have to say anything.

Scope & Expectations

A recurring clean covers all standard surfaces, floors, kitchens, and bathrooms each visit. A deep clean adds the extra layers: inside the oven and fridge, ceiling fans, baseboards, window tracks, light fixtures, and detailed grout scrubbing. Most new customers start with a deep clean and then move to recurring to maintain the results.

On deep cleans and move-out cleans, yes. On recurring visits, we wipe down appliance exteriors as standard. If you want oven or fridge interiors added to your recurring clean, just let us know and we can include it for a small add-on.

Absolutely. Special requests, skip-rooms, priority areas: we note everything in your customer file. Your team sees those notes before every visit so your preferences are always followed. Just tell us once and it sticks.

Florida Living

Yes. Tampa Bay humidity makes bathroom mildew almost inevitable. We treat grout lines, shower doors, caulking, and under-sink areas every visit. Regular service is the best defense because it keeps mildew from building up between cleans instead of letting it get ahead of you.

We wipe down vent covers and air return grilles as part of the standard clean. We don't clean inside the ductwork (that requires a specialized HVAC service), but keeping the surface dust-free reduces the allergens cycling through your system between filter changes.

First-Time Hesitations

That's literally why people call us. You don't need to clean before the cleaners come, and we've seen every level of mess. No judgment, ever. If your home needs extra attention, we'll recommend a deep clean first and then set you up on recurring service from there.

You get a price upfront, pick a day, and leave us access. We show up on time with all supplies, follow our checklist, and text you when we're done. You come home to a clean house. Most first-time customers tell us they wish they'd started sooner.

Your Team & Products

We work hard to match you with a dedicated cleaner and keep that person with your home visit after visit. On the rare occasion someone is unavailable, we'll reach out ahead of time to reschedule or send a trusted team member who has been briefed on your home. You'll always know before anything changes.

Our standard products are plant-based, pet-friendly, and kid-safe. We commonly clean with orange, lavender, and eucalyptus-scented formulas. If anyone in your home has a sensitivity to a specific scent or ingredient, just let us know when you book and we'll work around it.

Some mold situations need more than a standard cleaner, and we're equipped to handle them. Before we reach for anything stronger, we'll always explain what we'd use and get your approval first. You'll never come home to a surprise.

Policies

No. We do not clean homes with active bug or pest infestations (roaches, bed bugs, or similar). The space needs professional pest treatment first. Once treatment is complete, we are happy to come in and do a thorough clean-up to get the home back to a good state.

If we arrive at a home and find an active infestation that was not disclosed during booking, the appointment will be automatically cancelled and the deposit is non-refundable. This protects our team, our equipment, and every home we visit after yours. If you are unsure whether your situation qualifies, call us at 727-207-2119 before booking and we will help you figure out the right timing.
